Hume School just finished their Winter Activities in February 2023.  All students and staff of Hume participated in Winter Activities on each of the Tuesday's in February.  The break-down of activities were as follows: Kindergarten - outdoor activities, grade 1 - skating, grade 2 - snowshoeing, grade 3 - Nordic skiing, grade 4/5 - Whitewater skiing and snowboarding.

On January 13th, Hume Elementary hosted a district volleyball tournament for grade 4-6 students in the surrounding schools.  The energy, excitement and fun in the Hume gymnasium was brilliant.  Good vibes all around! Some excellent volleyball being played along with students taking some big risks out there. Great to be getting back to these sorts of events.

Halloween 4 Hunger

This year Hume Elementary School staff and students participate in the annual Halloween for Hunger.  This initiative has the students and staff collecting food donations for the Nelson Food Cupboard in the weeks of Oct. 24th to November 4th.
