On Thursday, April 20th Mrs. Mushumanski’s grade 3/4 class at Hume Elementary held their annual science fair. It is always amazing to see the culmination of weeks of hard work and to see the students so proud of their accomplishments.
The following school principal and vice-principal transfers and appointments for the 2023-2024 school year will come into effect on August 1, 2023:
Principal Transfers
Principal Dawn Snell will transfer from Salmo Elementary to South Nelson Elementary.
Above the front entrance to Hume Elementary School the year “1923” is emblazoned in concrete along with the school’s name. This year marks the hundredth anniversary since the building was first opened and students filed into classrooms to learn to read, write, and do arithmetic at their wooden desks.
