Hume School just finished their Winter Activities in February 2023.  All students and staff of Hume participated in Winter Activities on each of the Tuesday's in February.  The break-down of activities were as follows: Kindergarten - outdoor activities, grade 1 - skating, grade 2 - snowshoeing, grade 3 - Nordic skiing, grade 4/5 - Whitewater skiing and snowboarding.  

It is always such an amazing time to come together as a community for a series of shared experiences in what can be at times a challenging environment.  An important time to build lasting memories, new skills, new experiences, and resiliency.  

Many of our students were doing the activities for the first time and every student showed tremendous growth throughout the 4 sessions.  Nice work everyone!  A big thank you to the diligent work of support the logistics working and all parent/community chaperones for their support.
