On Monday, January 23rd the Hume students and staff participated in a workshop presented by the Selkirk Concert Society.  The school welcomed musician Laura Landsberg, vocalist and music educator for an engaging music workshop across all grades during the regular Monday morning assembly.  Here is Laura's website: http://www.lauralandsberg.ca/ for more background information.   Margot Zimmer was also a guest at the assembly. 

The Selkirk Concert Society would like to thank the BC Touring Council’s Youth Engagement Programme and the Osprey Community Foundation for funding the workshop. SD8 also made a generous financial contribution to the school concerts and workshops for this school year.
