Hume Terry Fox Run - Generosity, Hope and Perseverance

On September 24, Hume students and staff came together for our annual Terry Fox Run, carrying forward Terry’s message of hope, perseverance, and care for others. Our “Rainbow of Hope” theme connected students across the grades, reminding us that everyone has a place and something to contribute. 

Through participation and fundraising for cancer research, students experienced how small individual efforts can support a shared purpose. This year the Hume community raised $650 toward the Terry Fox Foundation. 

Thank you to our students, staff, and families for supporting this meaningful tradition. Terry’s example continues to remind us that courage means taking the next step, even when something is difficult, and that each of us can make a difference.
