Hello everyone.

Just a reminder to all our families that if you have to report an absence a really great way to do that is by using the online Report Absence form located on the Hume Elementary School website at: https://hume.sd8.bc.ca/absence-late

This can save a lot of the secretary's time as she follows up with families by phone who we do not know the attendance status as a part of the Safe Arrival protocol for the school.  If at all possible please let Arlene know if your child will be absent, sick, away part of the day for an appointment, arriving late, etc.  Thank you for your consideration and if this is already a part of your regular routine.
